I believe Jesus is always willing to help us be victorious over our suffering. Mark 1:40–42 illustrates this clearly. A man was eaten away by leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell on his knees. “Lord,” he begged, “ ‘if you are willing, you can make me clean.’ Jesus…reached out His hand and touched the man. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be clean!’ Immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed” (NIV).
Jesus was willing! Did you hear that? And He is still willing. God wants to heal you of every physical, emotional, and spiritual sickness.
Come to the Healer!
One beautiful aspect of this story is that through healing, Jesus made the leper clean. Jesus is the only one who can make us clean, because He removes the stain of sin from our lives. That is the most amazing healing of all.
And the good news is that we don’t have to wait for this healing. Unlike physical healings that can take time to manifest, healing of our sin is received instantly when we put our faith in Jesus Christ.
Have you received the greatest healing of all?
Isaiah 1:18 NKJV says, “ ‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’ ”
